INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHT: ROSE AND ROSE WATER SKIN BENEFITS

Rose is synonymous with love but to me rose is much more than that! It is vibrant, sexy, enlivening, and it is a skin savior.  Rose is used in many forms in both skincare and aromatherapy.  You can use rose as fresh petals, rose essential oil, rose absolute, rose petal powder and rose water.  Here are some of my favorite forms of rose and why I incorporate them in so many of our skincare products!
INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHT: BENEFITS OF SUPER HYDRATOR CUPUACU BUTTER

INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHT: BENEFITS OF SUPER HYDRATOR CUPUACU BUTTER

Cupuacu butter is by far my favorite plant butter, and for really good reasons too!  The butter has this amazing soft, silky texture and a low melt point so it sinks right into the skin, delivering all it's goodness on a cellular level.   It has an incredible ability to retain water and is also really high in phyto-nutrients and antioxidants that work with your cells to improve your skin's texture and protect it from the elements.

DIY COFFEE SCRUB

Coffee is great for the skin for a few different reasons:  First, the obvious, its caffeine content.  Caffeine helps constrict blood vessels and is a diuretic.  This means it helps reduce bloating, temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite, and helps fade dark eye circles.

INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: COMING CLEAN WITH CHARCOAL

INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: COMING CLEAN WITH CHARCOAL

Charcoal can be used to absorb toxins internally as well as externally. When ingested, it will soak up unwanted poisons, toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, and gasses from our digestive tract. Externally, charcoal acts like a magnet, clearing dirt from our pores, removing stains from teeth, and ridding our bodies and breath of bad odors.
