THE ELEVENS

Target one of the most common areas of concern with this tutorial led by Cecily. Sometimes referred to as ‘worry lines,’ the elevens refer to the crease or double crease you may notice between your eyebrows. Here, the muscle contracts when we express worry, concern, concentration, confusion or doubt, and overtime results in a vertical crease. It's here where the the skin tissue, not the muscle, holds onto the wrinkle. Watch Cecily demonstrate how to perform smoothing strokes across the orbicularis oris, the muscle surrounding the eye, for an overall smoothed-out, crease-free appearance. 

This sequence helps to smooth out existing creases but also serves as a preventative exercise even if you don’t currently notice any lines. While this exercise is an effective method in reducing the elevens, we recommend a consistent, daily practice for noticeable, lasting results.
