We introduced our Batch No. system in 2015 to be transparent and traceable about when our products were handcrafted and the ingredients that are in them. This gives you the ability to not only verify product freshness, but also to have more insight into the supply chain of each ingredient and what your purchase is supporting.
Why Freshness Matters
Fresh ingredients are safer and more effective. Natural, minimally processed skincare is rich in nutrients—but over time, those nutrients can oxidize and lose potency. The same ingredient that once nourished your skin could later irritate it if it’s no longer fresh.
That’s why we do quarterly freshness audits across all products and partners—to ensure you’re getting the most effective formula possible.
We also offer a Freshness Guarantee: if your product isn’t fresh or doesn’t meet expectations, we’ll exchange or reimburse it. Use your batch # to see when your product was made.
