Hi Katie!  Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! Can you tell us, before using our products, what was your main skin concern?

I had acne prone, greasy, sensitive skin. I had patches of small, colorless pimples that had been there for at least two years. Cystic acne was a constant. I had tried everything I could get over the counter and nothing worked. I tried everything the dermatologist gave me, but I refused to put my body through Accutane. Nothing cleared my skin.

Which Apoterra Skincare products did you try and what were the results you noticed?

I started with the Activated Charcoal + Dead Sea Salt Complexion Soap. That alone did wonders: my skin finally truly felt clean and it even took makeup off. The cystic acne occurrences were cut in half. After a few months I started using the Clear Skin Solutions Kit, which got rid of the two year old patches of small, colorless pimples. It was a miracle and even made me cry because they had been there for YEARS. The cystic acne occurrences were cut to one or two during the time of the month.

How long did it take to see results?

It took about a month for the charcoal bar to take full effect. It took another month after using the Clear Skin Solutions Kit to start seeing results.

Can you describe for us your daily skincare routine?

My skin has evolved. I found out I have a wheat allergy and after going gluten free I had zero cystic acne. I also moved to a dry climate and my skin began needing moisture and not acne prevention. I'm currently using the Firm, Hydrate and Repair Kit. I am 25 year old and it does incredible things to my skin.

Morning: Wash with water, tone with Rose Essential Hydration Mist, moisturize with Rose Nourishing Facial Oil.

Evening: Wash with Aloe + Rose Clay Complexion Soap, tone with Rose Essential Hydration Mist, moisturize with Vitamin C Regenerative Balm.

I use the Hibiscus Exfoliating Mud once or twice a week as a mask.

What's your favorite Apoterra Skincare product and why?

It's a tie between the Vitamin C Regenerative Balm and the Hibiscus Exfoliating Mud. The balm always makes my skin super moisturized and I wake up with naturally glowing skin. The mud always seems to 'reset' my skin and gives it even more of a glow. I was shocked the morning after I used it with how amazing my skin looked. Someone asked if I was pregnant, hah (which I wasn't)!

Anything else you would like to share about your experience with our brand and/or products?

My sensitive skin responded so well to Apoterra products. I believe it's because you don't put all those chemicals in your products and use such high quality ingredients. Now that I'm using the Firm, Hydrate and Repair Kit, not only is my skin wonderfully hydrated and balanced, but I have no noticeable acne scars. You have inspired me to change all my skincare to organic, natural products. 

Your products brought balance to my skin, even through major skin changes and moving to a different climate. I'll be a customer for a very long time. I love being able to go out in public without putting makeup on. Thank you for literally changing my life!
